Terms & Conditions

A legal disclaimer

The Elicha Michelle Experience provides catering services intended for personal and event use only. By booking our services, you acknowledge and accept the following:

 

  • All menu items are subject to seasonal availability and may be substituted with comparable items of equal or greater value.

  • We cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment. Clients and their guests assume all risks related to food allergies and dietary restrictions.

  • The Elicha Michelle Experience is not liable for any illness, injury, or damages arising from consumption of food after it has been delivered and/or displayed.

  • By using our services, you agree to the above terms and release The Elicha Michelle Experience from any liability outside of the services explicitly agreed upon in your catering contract.

Basic terms and  conditions

1. Orders & Payments

  • All orders must be placed at least [2 days for PLATTERS/2 weeks for CATERINGS] in advance of your event.

  • Payments can be made via DEBIT/CREDIT.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations made [24HRS before delivery for PLATTERS] [2 weeks or more before CATERING SERVICE] will receive a refund of any payments made, minus the non-refundable deposit.

  • Cancellations made AFTER CANCELATION FRAME are NON-REFUNDA.

  • Postponements may be accommodated at the discretion of The Elicha Michelle Experience, subject to availability.

3. Food Handling & Allergies

  • All food is prepared in a kitchen that may handle common allergens, including nuts, dairy, soy, gluten, and shellfish.

  • While we take care to avoid cross-contamination, The Elicha Michelle Experience is not liable for any allergic reactions.

  • It is the client’s responsibility to inform guests of potential allergens.

4. Event Set-Up & Pick-Up

  • Delivery, set-up, and clean-up services are available and may incur additional charges.

  • Clients are responsible for providing adequate space, tables, and conditions (shade, refrigeration if needed) for safe food display.

  • Any equipment (platters, stands, décor) provided by The Elicha Michelle Experience must be returned in original condition. Lost or damaged items may result in additional fees.

5. Liability

  • Once food is delivered and/or set up, The Elicha Michelle Experience is not responsible for food safety beyond the agreed service time.

  • We are not responsible for delays or non-performance caused by circumstances beyond our control (e.g., severe weather, accidents, road closures, venue restrictions).

6. Photography & Marketing

  • Unless otherwise requested in writing, The Elicha Michelle Experience reserves the right to photograph event setups for use in marketing, social media, and promotional materials.
